TUCO has launched a Chair’s Scholarship, offering members a fully funded opportunity to join the Director Development Programme with the University of Salford. The five-day online programme is designed to accelerate leadership potential, equipping senior professionals with the strategic insight and tools needed to excel at director level.
Delivered by experienced practitioners and Salford Business School academics with public sector expertise, the programme covers strategy, marketing, finance, leadership, and governance. Participants will benefit from hands-on exercises, peer discussions, and real-world case studies to make an immediate impact at their institutions.
The scholarship is aimed at Senior Leaders, aspiring or newly appointed Directors, and those with significant strategic responsibilities. It provides a unique opportunity to develop board-level skills, expand professional networks, and, optionally, gain CMI accreditation and credits toward a full MBA.
The programme runs online over five consecutive Thursdays in October and November, and will be delivered online. Applications are open to eligible TUCO members, who must submit a personal statement, role overview, and manager endorsement.
